Meet the Team
Sonia Enriquez, MD, is a caring and compassionate gynecologist serving patients at Lake Mary Gynecology, located in Lake Mary, Florida. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and her professional areas of interest are PCOS and menopause. She takes a patient-centered approach to care and brings a personalized touch to all her patient interactions.
Dr. Enriquez attended the University of Miami for her undergraduate studies. She then completed medical school at the University of Florida. She completed her internship at Ohio Valley Medical Center, and then went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at St. Louis University. Dr. Enriquez has worked in private practice in Orlando since 1989.
She is passionate about helping women take control of their health, and provides a wide array of services to patients at Lake Mary Gynecology. Dr. Enriquez is available for routine care, including well-woman exams and contraception counseling. She is also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological challenges, including abnormal pap smears, heavy periods, painful periods, and painful sex.

Meet Sarah Cordero
Sarah Cordero is a nurse practitioner that recently joined Lake Mary Gynecology in December of 2023. Her nursing profession began in 2015 when she earned her RN license. Sarah has worked in specialties that include cardiology, step down, and cardiac interventional units to name a few. In May 2021, she graduated from the University of South Florida with a master’s in science of nursing.
Sarah is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner’s in family health. She focuses on providing holistic care that includes not only gynecological needs but encourages her patients to achieve health and wellness through nutrition and exercise. Sarah is a loving mother of one. Her interests include traveling, roller skating, dancing, and weightlifting.
Sarah enjoys participating in volunteer activities that include serving others. For example, in 2022, she went on a medical mission trip to Guatemala to care for patients in an impoverished village. Sarah is ecstatic to be a part of this practice and ready to provide professional and compassionate care.
